Monette, on the other hand, is the leading floral designer and Ikebana enthusiast. She reaped raves from local shows and eventually commissioned orders for Manila's elite circle as well as the diplomatic corps. The growing interest in her designs, left her no recourse but to put a company that specialized in the production of these items. It was then that the art of artificial tree designing came into focus together with the Terra Verde line (driftwood designs), which she made popular locally. It was during the early part of 1984 that TREE'S COMPANY , a division of International Trade Technology and Realty Development Corporation, came into being.

Product Line:

The company then went into an extensive research for new and innovative products that would satisfy both local and export markets. At present, its main product line consists of the following:

1.ARTISTIC TREES - These are made of natural trunks with polyurethane leaves, the more popular designs are the following: Benjamina, Double Trunk Benjamina, Multi Trunk, Nitida in sets of three or five groupings-single. Various foliage available are ficus, Palm, Banana, Coconut, Oak, Areca Palm, Bougainville, Weeping Ficus (Mango), Wisteria and Cycas Palm.

2. TERRA VERDE - Includes driftwood designs in Ikebana Style using various greens and exotic flowers.

3. BONSAI - These Japanese artificial trees are done in silk polyester leaves on specially pruned trunks with foliage of Ming Aralia, Mini Maple Ivy, Mini Polycias Friuticose, and others, intricately arranged.

4. KNOCK-DOWN PARTS - Include Oak Leaf (Pak-Pak Lawin), polyester foliage and other indigenous materials.

5. CANVAS HI-TECH TREES - Specially hand-crafted from canvas and comes in Natural and exotic colors of any size and design.

6. TERRARIUM - Special glass casing with copper fittings and artificial foliage in dish garden designs.

7. WHIMSICAL CHARACTERS - These are paper mache items that take the form and shape of fruits and vegetables. They have eyes, hands and feet that make them look more realistic.

Our Design Department is composed of a team of experts headed by an In-House Designer, who plans and executes indoor landscaping such as hotels, restaurants, banks, office buildings, residential homes, etc... Offices:

Our office is located in the heart of bustling Mandaluyong City, a 15 minute drive to Makati City, the commercial district. Recently, we have opened our store outlet at SM MegaMall. Our factory is located in San Mateo, Rizal, a one hour drive from our Mandaluyong office. It has a total area of 1,160 SQ. meters for assembly and sun/air drying space.

Production Technique:

Two major drying/smoking ovens have been built to ensure a continuous availability of processed trunks the whole year round and a special chemical formulation specifically developed by the company against growth of wood pests and fungus. This technique allowed us to extend guaranty to clients for a period of two years on all our wood products.
