The Collection contains approximately 1,300 18th and 19th Century postage stamps from 70 countries (mostly British colonies). 

The collection originally belonged to Don Felipe R. Hidalgo and 
passed on from generation to generation. It includes some of the 
rarest stamps in the world including the one-penny and two-penny 
Mauritius stamps in mint condition.
