BIOGRAPHY
Born in Manila on November 29, 1934 - Leo is the son of the late Dr. Jose R. Hidalgo and Carmen A. Casas. He finished his Elementary, High School and Liberal Arts at San Beda College, and his Law at the Ateneo de Manila. He is the grandson of Don Felipe R. Hidalgo, the world's greatest collector. He has two sisters, Cristina R. Hidalgo and Margarita R. Hidalgo. He is the great grandson of the greatest Filipino painter, Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo! 

He was a star football player, a champion orator and a brilliant student. He was an active participant of all student activities, excelling in most of them. He began writing poems at the age of 13, and like a good wine he seasoned thru the years.
