When Aquatic Agro-Industrial Corporation was organized in mid-1974, it had only one corporate battlecry: help jumpstart the country's dwindling food supply through the improved technology.

It initially cornered a 50-hectare prime portion in the Laguna de Bay area where milkfish (bangus) fingerlings were being raised. Unfortunately, the rising cost of oil and the low supply of high-value fingerlings started to bite into the business.

A 237-hectare fishpond property in Zamboanga City provided the company's growing agribusiness operations with polyculture of export-quality prawns along with milkfish.

Other business ventures include a 17-hectare farm in Baras, Rizal wholly devoted to mango production, goat raising and assorted fruit trees.
